With Tropical Storm Danny coming to visit tomorrow, todays trip will be the last charter of the month. I had the pleasure of hosting Robin Ellington, her husband Vern and sons Allen & Ben who are both off to college next week. Robin & Vern were content to watch their sons fish( though Robin did commondeer a rod at the end of the trip to catch 2 stripers) neither had ever fished before, but managed to land 17 striper's with 4 over the magic 28" mark! Ben also had a nice bluefish to the boat but it finally chewed though the 30# fluorocarbon leader and swam away.

 If September is half as good as August was, I will be a very happy Captain!
