For 3 of the past 4 days I have hosted the Slavoski Clan and also the Garda's. We have had good solid fishing. No monsters, they seem to be 27"s, 29"s, 31"s, 33"s or the ocasianal 35" bass. My run of 40" plus fish has eluded me of late. I have been amazed at just how many 271/2" stripers there are swiming around! When I use medium to large sized live bait, we do not get "schoolie numbers" of fish but a decient number and usually 50% are "Keeper" sized.

 There have been the ocasional Bluefish bite offs. I had one today. This is why the mackerel are getting harder to find or at least find in any numbers. Bring plenty of chum!!!
