The Merrimack has not been giving up as many stripers on the incoming tide as I would like so we've been fishing more in deep water. The fishing is not always "fast" but what you get is almost always a "keeper" and bigger than most have caught. The little fish was 36"s if that helps put it into perspective.

 So if you are patient and want to try for your personal best, deep water fishing is for you!
