I was a little sad to see May come and go. After the Non-winter of 2011-2012 we had an outstanding month. With over 3 times the fish from 28" to 37"s I've ever had in the boat in my best year in May and 4 times the fish in many years I thought it was going to be hard to top!

Then June 1st came. Unfortunately it came with wind and and earlier in the day than forecast. Steve Fenton's group had driven over 2 hours & wanted to give it a try. The mackerel were in close and so were the stripers. After 4 hours the wind had lessened and they decided to go for the full day. Out for more bait and we ended up catching quality bass for the entire day! Any time that 3 friends can fish all day with 24 over 29"s is a very good day!
