Yesterday I said I would look through my records to find out how long it had been since I'd had a day like Wednesdays 50+ fish outing. I went back to 1999 (when I started chartering) and I never caught that many fish on a solo trip!! Days worth mention were 5-27-06 I caught 41 stripers in the Parker River. Also on 5-21-05 and 6-5-03 Capt. Pete & I caught & gently released 50 & 70 schoolies combined! My memory could be a little foggy but I like to believe I beat him :))
We could be looking at a very good summer of fishing for striped bass!!
