I have been fishing but not posting. I just needed a few days off to recharge. The easy June fish are definately behind us but I have been able to find some very nice fish outside. The river is still giving up good fish too but it is more tide specific. Bait, the key to all good fish, needs to be caught early or you spend way to long making bait if you can get it at all!  You need to chum heavily and have a few locations in mind to find the little critters.

 The fish below is one I caught on a day off (always looking for better places to fish) and was released after the photo was taken. She is on the deck beside a 110 quart cooler to give it a little perspective.
