Deep water striped bass

If you were to look at my bookings, this year June was mostly filled by March. I do not know why folks do not believe there are no bass in July but this photo proves that good things do happen in July! I guess that people need to "suffer" a little in the more unpredictable weather of June.

All & all the fishing has been very good, you just cannot be stuck on only one way to fish. So far this month I have seen great to good fishing in the mouth of the river drifting. I've had 27-31" bass exploding all over the surface feeding on sand eels and on any given day the big bass hit slow trolled macks in deep water. There have been fish north and south of the jetty's so with a little time on the water behind you and a good network of fishing buddies, you can have great fishing and get a tan!

This is a great time for a family outing on the water!

Good fishing
