I just read an article in The Newburyport Daily News that fisherman are catching mackerel off the State Pier in Gloucester! This is weeks early but with water temps 6-8 degrees above normal it is right on time for the fish! There are also reports of herring "scouts" in the creeks on the cape and up in our area!! I have seen "unseasonably warm" weather before and hoped for earlier fishing. With this entire winter warmer than normal it is looking like we will have a shot at striped bass in May again!
I'm thinking the cover is coming off the boat earlier this year!!!
I have received several calls & inquires from my regular clients and am currently 30% booked for June and have bookings in July. This is shaping up to be a great fishing season on Summer Job!!! Come join the fun!
Good fishing
