I went to Stellwagon Bank this week to check out all those cod and haddock I've been reading about. My friend Bob & I jigged up over 75 cod in 4 1/2 hours and I had never fished there before! Can you imagine what the guys do that have put in their time??? Most were "shorts" and released but we came home with plenty of fish to show for the days efforts.

 More exciting for the striper fishermen is the fact that I was catching mackerel on a cod teaser! There are LOTS of macks just south of us and when they turn the corner, the big bass will follow!
