I usually have a "lull" in charters around Labor Day but I have been going out to keep a handle on the fishing. The water temps are slowly coming down from the high of 72 during the last warm spell to 62 today. This is a much better temp for bass and the bluefish are good with it too. While I have not seem many stripers, the blues are still here if you know where to look and they do fight like a bass twice it's size!
Good fishing
